CWEP places UT Arlington students into paid, part-time roles with Bell and Lockheed Martin. You stay enrolled full-time, you're paid hourly through UTA, and you build real professional experience while you finish your degree.

Can I apply?

Both programs ask for these. Each one adds a requirement or two of its own.

  • You're enrolled full-time at UT Arlington for fall and spring.
  • You can commit to at least two consecutive semesters, up to 25 hours a week.
  • You have a resume and an unofficial transcript from MyMav.

Both programs require US-Person status

CWEP roles at Bell and Lockheed Martin are both subject to US export-control rules (ITAR), so both programs are open to US citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3).
